I help children, teens, and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, psychosis, addiction, suicidal thoughts, homicidal thoughts, and other mental health challenges. When working with children and teens, I collaborate closely with families and caregivers to ensure treatment is supportive and appropriate to their needs. I understand how overwhelming, lonely, and exhausting these experiences can feel, and I approach every person with compassion, respect, and care. My goal is to meet you where you are and support you as you move toward greater stability. I speak English, Creole and Spanish

In our sessions, I take a gentle, down-to-earth approach. I blend supportive talk therapy with simple, practical tools to help you feel relief and reconnect with yourself. Manuel “Nick” Ramirez M.Ed, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC

I believe people have an incredible potential for strength, though at times the right kind of support is needed to tap into that potential. Life will inevitably have heavy challenges and as such I offer assistance in navigating those more difficult moments. My approach emphasizes a constructive collaboration between therapist and client, in which we will together establish and find ways to reach personal milestones. Conversations will be largely purposed to increase insight, coping, and a sense of empowerment by being in touch with one's own values, while also facilitating important reflections on existence and one's identity.

I can provide support for life transitions, interpersonal struggles, identity formation, purpose exploration, and more. I tend to rely on existential, Jungian, and cognitive behavioral approaches, depending on the needs of the client. Together we will work on discovering what it means to be you. I am fluent in both English and Spanish.

I will meet you where you are at, providing feedback while maintaining an empathic environment. Your comfort throughout the process is valued and great efforts are taken so that even difficult conversions can be carried out in a manner that leads to positive change. Please do not hesitate to reach out with questions. I look forward to getting to know you!
